ReGrid in Warehouse to Hotel Conversion

This industrial building, originally built in 1926, was being re-purposed into a hotel. The load demands for occupancy and dining facilities required that reinforcement be installed on all floors.

Fortress ReGrid carbon Kevlar® straps were chosen, and a total of over 4,000 feet was installed in 33′ spans. Each span took less than 25 minutes to install on average. Engineers required “puck” testing of the Xtreme 4000 epoxy to insure adequate bonding was achieved between the ReGrid straps.
